For many women in rural Uganda, poverty is reinforced by limited access to vocational training, productive resources, affordable finance, and stable employment. Single mothers and caregivers of orphaned children face immense challenges as climate-related crop failures and unemployment make it difficult to meet basic family needs. This project will empower vulnerable women with practical livelihood skills, entrepreneurship training, savings groups, start-up resources, and continuous mentorship to build sustainable income-generating activities. Higher household incomes will improve food security, healthcare, education, and overall family well-being while strengthening resilience against future economic shocks. By supporting this initiative, donors will help women move from dependence to self-reliance, strengthen local economies, and create lasting change that uplifts entire communities.
