Economic inequality continues to prevent thousands of women in rural Uganda from reaching their full potential. Many lack access to skills development, affordable finance, productive assets, and reliable income opportunities. Single mothers and caregivers of orphaned children face even greater hardships as unemployment and climate shocks increase household vulnerability. This project will provide practical business training, financial literacy, savings groups, livelihood start-up resources, and ongoing mentorship to help women build successful enterprises. As household incomes grow, families will improve nutrition, healthcare, children's education, and financial security. Every investment in a woman's livelihood creates a ripple effect that strengthens local economies, promotes self-reliance, and builds resilient communities capable of overcoming poverty for generations.
