Every woman deserves the opportunity to provide for her family and build a secure future. Yet many women in rural Uganda remain trapped in poverty because they lack access to vocational training, productive resources, affordable finance, and business opportunities. Single mothers and caregivers of orphaned children are especially vulnerable as climate change and unemployment continue to increase economic hardship. This project will empower women through entrepreneurship training, financial literacy, savings groups, start-up livelihood support, and ongoing mentorship to establish successful small enterprises. Increased household income will improve nutrition, healthcare, children's education, and financial resilience. By supporting this project, donors will help women achieve economic independence, strengthen local economies, and create sustainable change that benefits families and entire communities.
