By Othieno Gerald | Project Leader
When women succeed, entire families and communities flourish. Yet many women in rural Uganda remain excluded from economic opportunities because they lack access to business training, financial services, productive resources, and stable employment. Single mothers and caregivers of orphaned children face even greater challenges as climate-related crop failures and unemployment deepen poverty. This project will provide practical entrepreneurship training, savings group support, financial literacy, start-up livelihood resources, and personalized mentorship to help women establish sustainable businesses. As incomes increase, families will enjoy improved nutrition, better healthcare, uninterrupted education for children, and stronger financial resilience. Every contribution will create lasting impact by empowering women, reducing poverty, stimulating local economic growth, and building brighter futures for generations to come.
