The first six months of 2026 have been a period of meaningful progress for Bahini Educare Foundation. Thanks to the generosity of our donors, partners and supporters, we have continued to provide vulnerable single-mother families with the stability, opportunities and hope they need to build a better future.

Through our Educare Family Program, we are currently supporting 72 single mothers and 155 girls across our two project locations in Kaski and Tanahun. Beyond meeting immediate needs, our focus remains on helping families become stronger, more independent and resilient.

Education continues to be at the heart of our work. During this period, 324 children received educational support, ensuring they could continue their studies with access to essential learning resources. We also celebrated the success of 13 SEE graduates and provided career counseling to 28 students, helping them prepare for higher education and future employment.

Our commitment to health and wellbeing also expanded. 227 beneficiaries were protected through government health insurance, while 180 women and family members participated in health awareness, counseling, and legal awareness programs that strengthened their knowledge, confidence and access to support services.

Creating sustainable livelihoods remains one of our key priorities. Mothers participated in poultry farming and kitchen gardening initiatives, while girls and women received vocational training, specialized skills development, and job placement support. These opportunities are helping families move beyond dependence toward long-term financial security.

Every achievement reflected in this report represents more than a statistic. It represents a child staying in school, a mother gaining confidence, a family accessing healthcare, and a household taking steps toward self-reliance.

As we enter the second half of 2026, we remain committed to expanding our impact and ensuring that every vulnerable mother and child we serve has the opportunity to live with dignity, safety, and hope.
