Greetings from SERUDS
Thank you for supproting us through GlobalGiving to provide vocational skills training to the underprivileged children.
In the Joy Home Children Orphanage run by SERUDS Charity, 40 underprivileged children are getting food, education support, medical care, recreation facilities time to time with the generous support of individual philonthropists like you. The children age group are 5 years to 16 years. All the children are studying from I Standard to XI Standard in High School and college. Children are very enthusiastic to learn sports and games, to participate in National Service Scheme (NSS), NCC Camps etc. Apart from regular academics children are being provided the Computer Skills Training, Life skills for adolescents and Employable skills for the their better future.
In the computer vocational training classes, V Standard studying children onwards learning basic fundamentals of computers, operating systems, simple hardwarde, MS word, MS Excel, MS Powerpoint, Desktop Publishing. For letter drafting they are learning techiniques in MS WORD, for simple mathematics tables and formulas are learning MS EXCEL, for slides preparation, etc are learning MS Powerpoint, they even learning MS Paint and Print Screen Shot to share in social media, Googling, Internet concepts, Internet protocol, world wide web importance and social media advantages and disadvantages etc.
