Dear Valued Donor,

Warm regards from SERUDS.

We sincerely appreciate the opportunity you have provided us to offer skill development training for the orphaned children at SERUDS through the GlobalGiving Nonprofit platform.

Twelve years ago, we began with a small orphanage housing just five children. Today, we are proud to support and rehabilitate 75 orphaned children, ranging in age from 6 to 17 years. These children are enrolled in various educational institutions, including convent schools, government high schools, intermediate colleges, and degree programs. Our primary focus is on their academic education, supplemented by comprehensive computer skills training. This training includes proficiency in MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, Paint, and fundamental internet concepts. Additionally, we offer life skills and personality development classes. For our adolescents, we provide job-oriented courses in desktop publishing (DTP) to enhance their future prospects.

Our computer skills curriculum is tailored to fit the educational stages and age groups of the children. While the children attend school regularly, they have recently enjoyed their summer break. From May to June 2023, we sponsored a variety of indoor and outdoor activities, including cricket, chess, volleyball, basketball, and yoga classes for both boys and girls. The children, who come from remote villages, are thriving in our care and are delighted with the opportunities provided. They receive adequate nutrition, quality education, recreational activities, and healthcare.

Thank you for your continued support in enabling these children to acquire valuable computer skills. Your generosity is making a significant impact on their lives.
