We want to express our heartfelt gratitude for your generous donation towards providing computer skills training for the underprivileged orphans at our orphanage. Your support, facilitated through the USA tax-deductible nonprofit organization GlobalGiving Foundation, plays a crucial role in our mission. We are proud to share that SERUDS Charity was recognized as an Effective Nonprofit by GlobalGiving USA.
Since our establishment in January 2012, we have been dedicated to creating a nurturing environment for abandoned orphaned children. What began with just five children has now grown to accommodate 60 orphans aged between 7 and 17 years. These children are enrolled in various convent schools, government high schools, and colleges, receiving a comprehensive education that goes beyond academics. We have implemented a robust computer skills training program that covers essential software such as MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, and Paint, alongside vital life skills and personality development courses.
Our curriculum is tailored to suit the age and learning needs of the orphan students. Throughout the COVID-19 pandemic, these children have been able to continue their education through online classes, thanks to the computers and laptops generously provided by our donors. In addition to academic pursuits, we actively promote physical and mental well-being by sponsoring various indoor and outdoor games, including cricket, chess, volleyball, basketball, and yoga classes, catering to both boys and girls.
It is important to note that these children often do not have relatives who visit them, as many come from remote rural villages. At SERUDS Orphanage, they find happiness and stability, receiving adequate food, excellent education, dedicated study hours, recreational facilities, and essential healthcare services. All of this is made possible because of your unwavering support. Without your generous contributions, it would be challenging for us to provide the necessary assistance to these destitute orphan children.
