Respected Donor,
Warm greetings from SERUDS!
We extend our heartfelt gratitude to you for your generous support in providing skill development training in computer education for the underprivileged. Your contributions are helping transform lives, giving these children the tools they need for a brighter future.
Let us share the story of Maneesha, a 15-year-old girl currently studying in 10th grade at IGMM School. English is her favorite subject, and she shows a remarkable enthusiasm for learning. Despite her academic dedication, Maneesha has faced significant challenges in her young life. Her mother is battling kidney failure, and her father, addicted to alcohol, has been a source of distress for the family. Consuming cheap liquor, he often behaved violently, creating a hostile environment for his wife and children. Tragically, he eventually abandoned his family, leaving them to fend for themselves while pursuing harmful habits and illegal relationships.
Despite these hardships, Maneesha has remained resilient. She has a keen interest in sports, games, vocational training, and life skills. She actively participates in NCC camps and volunteers for NSS activities organized by her school. Her perseverance and focus on education have enabled her to excel academically and personally.
At SERUDS, Maneesha has found a safe haven where she receives education, healthcare, nutritious food, and a secure shelter. To further empower her and other children like her, SERUDS is providing vocational computer training to the children at Joy Home Orphanage. The job-oriented computer education program includes foundational skills in Computer Fundamentals, MS Office, Desktop Publishing (DTP), and Communicative Skills.
The children are eager learners and are acquiring valuable computer skills that will be instrumental in building their careers. This training equips them with the confidence and capability to stand on their own feet and build a self-reliant future, free from dependence on others.
Your support through the esteemed organization GlobalGiving has made this possible. It is because of your kindness and generosity that Maneesha and other children are finding hope and opportunities for a better tomorrow.
Thank you once again for being a vital part of this transformative journey.
