Empower 40 Orphans with Computer Skills Training

We extend our heartfelt gratitude for your generous support in uplifting the lives of abandoned orphan children through the JoyHome Children Orphanage, operated by SERUDS Charity. Since 2012, this initiative has been providing a safe haven for 50 orphaned and abandoned children, offering them education, nutritious meals, healthcare, vocational skills training, and recreational opportunities to ensure their overall well-being and bright future.

The children, ranging in age from 5 to 17 years, are currently pursuing their education from LKG to Intermediate, with 34 girls and 16 boys regularly attending school and college. These children display immense enthusiasm for academics, sports, and extracurricular activities, each aspiring to build a successful career in their chosen field. To support their well-being, regular medical checkups are conducted by healthcare professionals, and individual health and education records are maintained to track their progress.

Recognizing the importance of vocational skills in today’s competitive world, we have integrated computer training into their academic curriculum. With guidance from qualified computer instructors, children are learning Computer Fundamentals, MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, Desktop Publishing, Basic Mathematics, and Market-Driven Communication Skills. These essential skills will empower them with better career opportunities and a pathway toward financial independence. The children are incredibly excited and eager to learn, making the most of this opportunity to shape a brighter future.
