Respected Donor,

Warm greetings from SERUDS!

We sincerely thank you for your generous support through GlobalGiving, which is helping transform the lives of orphaned and abandoned children by equipping them with essential computer skills. Your contributions are laying the foundation for a brighter, more independent future for these underprivileged children.

Since 2012, as part of our rehabilitation efforts, SERUDS has been offering structured computer training to 50 orphan and street children aged 10 to 17 years who are currently residing in our care. These children, studying from Grade V to XII, attend school and college regularly and are showing remarkable academic progress.

Understanding the importance of digital literacy in today’s job market, we’ve introduced comprehensive computer education at our center. Led by an experienced trainer, the children learn fundamental skills such as:

  • Basics of computer hardware (CPU, monitor, mouse, keyboard)

  • MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

  • Internet use (browsing, email communication)

  • Practical tasks like document creation, formatting, and presentations

This training not only enhances their technical abilities but also boosts their confidence and prepares them for future employment opportunities. The children are enthusiastic, motivated, and fully aware of the positive impact this knowledge will have on their lives.

Thanks to your ongoing support, we’ve seen a tremendous transformation in their outlook and abilities. Your kindness is helping them break the cycle of poverty and build independent, dignified lives.

Thank you for being an integral part of this mission and for believing in the potential of these deserving children.
