This project, is an integral center that provides education, health and nutrition to 400 children who are related to people that collect garbage in Xochiaca Dump.
In Chimalhuacan there are approximately 20 thousand children employed in informal commerce, however thousands more work in landfill, cleaning houses and taking care of their siblings. 16% of boys and girls go to the trash dump because their parents send them, among the main causes of school dropout are: poverty, need to work, early pregnancies, addictions etc. 88% of children want to continue studying.
This project seeks to reduce the conditions of vulnerability of this children, through education, nutrition and health actions to prevent and reduce child labor and thereby improve their quality of life.
These prevention actions carried out through 3 Civil Social Organizations, with which we have an alliance allow children to become agents of change and have a positive impact on the community.
