Empower 50 Women in Syria with Education

Did you know that your support has been the main factor enabling a generation of youth to acquire skills that boost their academic success and personal growth? You have contributed to changing their life paths and have been the greatest supporter of their ambitions, which are now closer to reality.

In the third session of the “Personal Plan Writing” program within the Academic Guidance track, our students received an exceptional session focused on advanced study techniques that instilled confidence and determination in them. They learned the concept of “spaced repetition” for more effective information retention, which involves strategically spreading out study periods to enhance memory retention. They also practiced “personal summarization” to deepen their understanding by reformulating information in their own words.

The students also discovered tailored learning strategies that suit their diverse learning styles, whether visual, auditory, or kinesthetic. Additionally, they realized how AI applications, such as self-organization tools and review apps, can simplify and enhance their learning process, turning their educational journey into an inspiring experience.

At the end of the session, the students participated in an engaging open discussion that enriched their understanding and reinforced the acquired knowledge. These conversations acted as a bridge between theoretical education and practical application, boosting their confidence in sharing experiences and building a deeper understanding of the skills they gained.

Jana, one of the participating students, is a living example of the impact of these programs. Before joining, she struggled with stress and time management issues that affected her academic performance. Today, by applying techniques such as time management and effective learning strategies, she has witnessed a dramatic transformation in her studies. She is now able to complete two lessons a day and has improved her focus using simple tools like time management apps.
