Project Report | Jul 30, 2025
From Displacement, to Hope

By Abdulrazak Madi | Project Leader

When a young woman decides to return to Syria, despite all the
pain it holds, simply because she dreams of having a role in rebuilding
her homeland, you know you’re witnessing an extraordinary story.

One of our students shared her deeply moving journey, from the moment
she returned to her country, to the shock of reality, and then to the turning
point " I won’t weaken, I will return, because my future and identity are here, I will start over, and achieve my dream, no matter how difficult it may be."

Masarat wasn’t just an educational platform for her, it was a new beginning,
a first step, and a glimpse of hope that someone out there sees her, and is
ready to offer support when she needed it most.

She tells us: "Joining Masarat is a big challenge for me, but it’s my
path to pursuing my dream again."

Every word written by this student reminds us why we do what we do.
Every girl who finds a fresh start in Masarat is proof that donations
aren’t just numbers, they are lives being rewritten.

Thank you to everyone who made this possible through GlobalGiving.
You’re not just funding education, you are sparking a movement, one that
begins with a single girl and grows to uplift an entire nation.
