Adam, a child who lost his right arm, now writes with his left hand. Yet his smile fills the space with warmth and determination.
It’s a simple moment, but it captures the essence of willpower when it’s planted in a young heart, and the meaning of education when it becomes a window to life, not merely a book and a notebook.
Each word he writes is a triumph over circumstance, and every smile he draws is a message that disability is not measured by the body, but by the spirit that rises each day despite exhaustion.
At Masarat, we learn more from our orphaned students and students with disabilities than we teach them.
In them, we see the meaning of strength, and what it truly means for hope to be an action, not just a feeling.
Thanks to you, and your generosity through GlobalGiving, education continues to reach them even inside the camps, ensuring that every child like Adam has the chance to write his own story…
A story that begins with a smile and ends with an achievement that lights the way for others.
