I Want to Make a Decision

By Abdulrazak Madi | Project Leader

For years, silence was Alia’s only companion. A long interruption from school was forced upon her by harsh circumstances, the loss of her father and the bitterness of displacement. Alia found herself far from the classroom, feeling as though the train of the future had left her behind while she was still at the station.

But in the heart of this stagnation, there was a muffled cry: "I want to have a voice... I want to make a decision about my own life."

Alia realized that the only weapon that would give her the power to choose her destiny, rather than have it dictated to her, was education. She returned to her books and notebooks with a heart trembling with excitement and eyes shining with determination.

How Masarat Paved the Way: Returning to a traditional school was nearly impossible for Alia. This is where Masarat’s flexibility made the difference. Through our remote learning system, Alia was able to:

  • Overcome the gap of lost years, studying at a pace that fits her reality.

  • Access her lessons from within her tent, breaking the barriers of distance.

  • Find an educational team that doesn’t just teach lessons, but rebuilds her self-confidence.

By supporting Masarat, you didn't just give Alia "internet data" or a "history lesson"; you gave her the "right to choose." Thank you for being the support she leaned on to stand tall again and tell the world: "I am here, and I will shape my own future."
