The Boys' Future, Boys' Challenge (BFBC) Summit empowers boys to navigate the journey into healthy manhood. Operating in three strategic phases, the program includes the BFBC School Summit for grassroots workshops, the BFBC Global Summit-a quarterly virtual and physical gathering for stakeholders in boys' development-and the BFBC Peace Pledge Campaign. We provide research-backed tools, leadership training, and conflict resolution workbooks to equip the next generation of men.
Since 2021, after producing 20 global BFBC episodes, we identified critical obstacles in boys' journeys. Globally, 1 in 4 boys experiences physical violence by age 17 (UNICEF), while prevailing norms of toxic masculinity are linked to increased aggression and mental health challenges. Without structured mentorship, boys lack the necessary roadmap to navigate these societal expectations safely.
The BFBC Summit addresses these challenges across seven pillars: Masculinity, Leadership, Technology, Wellness, and Literacy. We provide free conflict resolution workshops in schools and communities using the BMAN Workbook and interactive role-plays. Additionally, we train older students as peer-mentors to lead ongoing peace-building initiatives, ensuring the "Peace Pledge" becomes a sustainable local culture.
Endorsed by the Lagos State Government, the BFBC Summit offers a proven, credible model for social change. By equipping boys with research-backed tools through our Peace Pledge Campaign, we reduce violence and foster a generation of emotionally intelligent leaders. This transformative summit provides the essential framework for boys to successfully navigate manhood and build a brighter, safer future.
