Empower 1000 Rural Students Every School Year

Learning Without Limits

Between September 2024 and mid-May 2025, a transformative education initiative reached the heart of rural Türkiye, serving as both a support system for teachers and a catalyst for student success. With this project and your support, we delivered 370 sets of essential educational materials and 1000 school bags and stationery kits to eager students across 30 provinces, from Adana to Zonguldak. Altogether, more than 97.900 students were empowered with tools to support their learning journeys.

This initiative is driven by a clear mission: to bridge the opportunity gap by investing in education in rural and underserved areas. Every year, 1,000 underprivileged students benefit from school supplies, books, educational toys, and intelligence games—resources many families cannot afford. These materials not only support academic growth but also enhance teacher effectiveness by equipping classrooms with the tools needed for meaningful instruction.

The challenge in these communities is stark. Teachers often face overcrowded classrooms with limited supplies, struggling to engage students who lack even the most basic school necessities. For many of these children, a backpack filled with stationery or access to a classroom library can be life-changing.

Through sustained support and growing outreach, the project continues to make strides in leveling the educational playing field. By enriching the classroom environment and encouraging learning, it helps students unlock their potential and inspires educators to reach higher.

Continuing Support for Rural Schools

Dear Supporters of Education,

Last year, thanks to your generosity, we made a real difference in the lives of thousands of students across rural Türkiye. For many, basic school supplies, warm clothing, and educational materials are not a given—but together, we changed that.

A Year of Impact

Because of you:
10,583 students in 21 provinces received educational material sets, giving them the tools to thrive in the classroom.
800 students across 32 schools started this semester with new backpacks and essential supplies.
207 students across 8 schools stayed warm through the winter with new boots and coats.
In total, 11,590 children benefited from the resources we sent to schools last year.

These numbers are more than statistics—they represent children who now step into their classrooms with confidence, teachers who can provide better lessons, and families who feel supported in their children’s education.

Bridging the Gap: Support for Rural Schools

Have you noticed the bright eyes of the children in the picture above? Their teacher, Hatice, has a heartfelt message for you:

“Thanks to you, our kind-hearted volunteers, my students’ needs have been met. I am sure they will be more engaged in class now that they have all their necessary supplies. I cannot tell you how happy they were when they opened their bags, how radiant they looked… I wanted to share their joy with you. No amount of thanks would be enough...”

With you by our side, we’re advancing toward educational equity for students across Türkiye. Your generous contributions empower us to support both teachers and students, enhancing the quality of learning in under-resourced schools. Here’s a glimpse of our achievements in the 2023-2024 academic year and what we’ve accomplished so far in 2024-2025:

BTF4Kids Set Deliveries

Through the BTF4Kids program, we continue reaching remote schools in rural areas, supplying essential educational materials to students with limited access. This year, we distributed 449 BTF4Kids sets, impacting 101,464 children. These sets enrich learning across STEAM subjects, creating a dynamic environment for students and a versatile toolkit for their teachers.

2024 Back to School Campaign

Thanks to your support, our Back to School Campaign equipped 10 essential school supply sets for 4 rural schools, giving students the materials they need for a strong start to the academic year. This initiative fosters a more equitable beginning to the semester, increasing confidence and enthusiasm among both students and teachers.
