This project is continuing to off a critical support to young girls and women. During the period, the project have provided 150 girls with sanitary pads, 70 girls with school stationery, 25 girls with counseling and 40 girls was assisted and engaged in students career fairs.
Twenty of the girls on the project has been awarded with trophies and certificates after they performed overwhelmingly during the last exams which have eversince a powerful recording in our history of time.
Parents have been engaged in their children education and mobilized to know the rights of girls as the future mothers instead of just be a merely children.
The ministry of education has recommended the project during the award ceremony for the work well done and asked for individual and institutions to invest in the livelihoods of young girls through this project.
We are currently planning of end year function where we would bring together young girls during this Christmas time, for the purpose of letting girls to interact each other and learn from one another.
This will assist girls to acquire knowledge, share experience, motivation and possible healing as they sharing their either pain or success stories.
