Many boys in rural Nigeria have never attended school due to poverty, distance, or lack of resources. This project will provide 500 disadvantaged boys with foundational education, including literacy, numeracy, and basic life skills. Support will include tuition, learning materials, uniforms, and mentorship. Immediate intervention is needed to prevent lifelong illiteracy, improve social and cognitive development, and give these boys a chance to succeed academically and personally.
Many boys in rural Nigeria have never attended school due to financial hardship, lack of schools nearby, and social barriers. Illiteracy prevents them from accessing opportunities, developing basic skills, and participating fully in society. Without intervention, they risk remaining in cycles of poverty, child labor, and social exclusion, limiting their future potential and contributions to their communities.
This project will provide foundational education for 500 boys who have never attended school, covering literacy, numeracy, and basic life skills. Learning materials, uniforms, and tuition support will be provided, along with mentorship to encourage regular attendance and personal growth. By starting with foundational skills, the boys will be able to progress to formal education and improve their long-term prospects.
Boys who receive foundational education can transition into formal schooling, gain essential skills, and improve literacy and numeracy. This increases their future employment opportunities, social participation, and personal confidence. Over time, these interventions reduce cycles of poverty and illiteracy, while creating a generation of young men capable of contributing to their communities and serving as role models for younger children.
