We are thrilled to share the incredible progress in our Maternal and Infant Care program. Over the past month, our efforts have expanded significantly, bringing hope and support to women and newborns in need.
Last month, we delivered 13 baby bags to the Sibanor Clinic in The Gambia. The doctor shared that while births typically decrease during this season, the clinic in Guinea-Bissau saw an unexpected increase, with eight babies born in just one week. We now partner with a sewing school to craft these essential baby bags to meet the growing demand, further empowering local communities. One of the women, Binta, appreciated the baby bags and the supplies she was given to take home for the first few days of her baby's life.
In Guinea-Bissau, women’s health clinics are vital in addressing high maternal and infant mortality rates. Many women lack access to essential prenatal care, skilled birth attendants, and emergency services. Your generous support ensures these women receive timely, quality care during one of the most critical moments of their lives. Together, we are fostering healthier families and saving lives in hard-to-reach communities.
Thank you for making this life-changing work possible. Your dedication is truly making a difference!
