Empower and Transform Maternal and Infant Care

We are overjoyed to share the latest update from the field, and it’s one of life, hope, and safe beginnings. Since our last report, Omega Global Development has supported 59 mothers and newborns through our Baby Bag Initiative!

These mothers received not only essential maternal care and health education but also our signature “Baby Bags”—filled with newborn clothing, sanitary pads, soap, diapers, and a prayer cloth, gifts that represent dignity and care. In Guinea-Bissau, where the birth rate stands at 31.87 births per 1,000 people, too many women still give birth without access to skilled care or clean birth supplies. But your support is changing that.

We are thrilled to report that every baby who received a Baby Bag was born without complications. This is a remarkable sign that our prenatal education and delivery support efforts are making a tangible difference in maternal and neonatal health outcomes.
