The Ark project is assisting Russians with an anti-war stance who have left Russia due to their disagreement with the aggression towards Ukraine, as well as political repression due to their anti-war and democratic beliefs. Every month, our team creates new free groups to learn foreign languages, acquire new professional skills, provides free psychological support, and supports anti-war and democratic efforts of Russians.
In the wake of Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine in February 2022, a wave of political repression has forced hundreds of thousands of Russians to flee their country in fear for their lives and freedom. They left Russia without any plans or prospects, to escape the threat of repression for their outspoken stance against the war, civil activism, and opposition to the oppressive regime. Now they seek to rebuild their lives, embracing the values of freedom, opportunity, and self-reliance.
We organize free psychological support groups, foreign language classes, and trainings in new professions. Each month, over 800 persecuted Russians gain new opportunities and skills that help them find work, start businesses, and integrate into their new societies, contributing positively rather than relying on welfare.
With your support, more than 800 anti-war and pro-democracy Russians will each month gain the strength and skills they need to build new lives. As they grow stronger, they will begin to give back to their host countries, enriching the communities that welcomed them. Whether it's by finding meaningful employment, starting new businesses, or integrating into society, these resilient individuals are determined to stand on their own feet.
