Short-term aid may help for a moment.
Sustainable income changes everything.
For many disadvantaged women in rural Indonesia, the biggest challenge is not willingness to work—but the lack of access to skills, tools, and stable livelihood opportunities. Without sustainable income, families remain vulnerable to economic shocks and cycles of poverty.
The Empower Disadvantaged Women with Sustainable Livelihoods project addresses this challenge by supporting women with practical skills training, mentoring, and pathways to long-term income generation. These livelihoods allow women to plan for the future, support their children’s education, and contribute confidently to their communities.
When women have sustainable income:
Families become more food-secure and resilient
Children are more likely to stay in school
Women gain confidence, dignity, and independence
Communities grow stronger from within
This project is not about temporary assistance—it is about building lasting economic foundations.
Invest in change that endures.
