As part of Action 10’s ongoing commitment to empowering entrepreneurs across Kenya, members of the Action 10 Network are strengthening their livelihoods through a shared BodaBoda initiative that supports income generation and community mobility.
Through this initiative, Action 10 is helping finance the purchase of BodaBoda motorcycles, enabling entrepreneurs to access a productive asset that would otherwise be out of reach. By supporting ownership and use of these motorcycles, entrepreneurs are better positioned to generate stable income, increase their self-sufficiency, and reduce reliance on informal or unstable work opportunities.
Beyond individual impact, the BodaBodas play an important role within the wider community. Reliable and affordable transport services allow workers and residents to reach workplaces and markets that are further away, increasing flexibility in employment opportunities and supporting local economic activity.
This initiative reflects Action 10’s broader approach of combining access to finance with practical, income-generating solutions. By investing in shared assets that serve both entrepreneurs and their communities, the project contributes to more resilient local economies and creates pathways toward long-term financial independence.
Action 10 Kenya continues to explore opportunities to expand this model within its network, ensuring that more entrepreneurs can benefit from sustainable business solutions while strengthening community connections and economic inclusion.
