Our social broadcasting program just turned 9!

AGTR produces the weekly social broadcasting program “No Somos Invisibles”  (we are not invisible) since 2012. The program addresses issues related to the risks of child domestic labor and its consequences on the schooling of children and adolescents who work. Since 2017, it has also promoted the rights of adult domestic workers, so that employers and society in general value the important work of this sector. In the program, interviews are conducted with representatives of the State or specialists in psychological and legal counseling related to paid domestic work. No Somos Invisibles is a valuable tool for social advocacy in Peruvian society, where child labor is considered formative by many people and, despite recent legislative advances, paid domestic work work continues to be informal and not considered “real work ”. Currently the program is broadcast through AGTR's social networks, every Monday from 9pm to 10pm.

During a recent special broadcast to celebrate the ninth anniversary of the program, one of our listeners told us that: “No Somos Invisibles is a very interesting and very valuable program for all domestic workers, because it helps us learn about our labor rights and understand that our work has worth”.

This initiative is possible thanks to your generous contribution. As always, we are grateful for your support and commitment with our causes.

Warm regards,

Andrea Gandolfi & the AGTR team
