Dear Supporters,
At AGTR we continue to support women and girls who are still facing the economic consequences of the Covid-19 pandemic and the political instability that the country has faced in recent years. In addition to our regular services for domestic workers and girls exposed to child labor, since May 2020 we have done our best to provide the most vulnerable among our beneficiaries with necessity goods, such as food baskets and hygiene kits. Although this is not our usual approach (we aim at implementing long term impact programs), we believe the circumstances require such actions.
This month we received a generous donation from the Peruvian Ministry of Justice that will allow us to provide approximately 100 low-income households with clothes, especially for girls, boys, and adolescents. Our team is processing the donation at our venue and, thanks to your continued support we will be able to deliver packages to the selected households over the next two weeks. We will share additional information on the results of this and other exceptional activities we are implementing in the coming months.
As always, we are grateful for your help and for everything we are achieving together. Thank you!
Warm regards,
Andrea Gandolfi & the AGTR Team
