Dear friend:
This brief message is to thank you for being part of our community, thank you for having chosen our project to make a donation, thank you for trusting our work, thank you for being supportive of girls and women domestic workers in Peru.
We want to share with you three small videos of our work this year. I hope you enjoy it.
1. Protecting Child domestic workers in San Juan de Miraflores: Asociación Grupo de Trabajo Redes through its project “Education of girls in a very low-income neighborhood on the outskirts of Lima, San Juan de Miraflores”, carried out in the play center, held the last workshop of the year talking about the Christmas spirit, reinforcing values such as union and solidarity. In this way, together with the Jugando Aprendo Group, we reaffirm our commitment to the prevention of child domestic labor.
2. TITA´s Christmas Celebration: In January we start this space TITA that is a meeting space where, through expressive arts and theatrical improvisation, women domestic workers could play, share their experiences and learn improv tools that help them both at work and in their lives same. This is how TITA was born: Theater improvisation and expressive arts workshop. In 2024 we will continue with the workshop.
3. Home efficient care is job training for domestic workers. In this workshop they learn social skills, the value of domestic work and their rights according to law 31047.
I hope you have a beautiful holiday surrounded by your loved ones.
