With a lot of love and expectation, after four years we returned to teach our early stimulation workshop dedicated to women domestic workers who wish to specialize in the care of babies and children.
In this in-person workshop we focus on carrying out the practical part of the workshop such as how to carry a newborn, how to bathe a baby, proper cleaning of the umbilical cord and early stimulation exercises. The theoretical part of the workshop will continue to be carried out virtually.
Each of the workshop participants was able to practice very actively, errors were corrected and they were supported to learn the appropriate techniques. During the session, the domestic workers shared their work experiences caring for babies and children of different ages. This helps enrich the workshop and allows them to build confidence so they can ask any concerns they have regarding the topic.
We want to continue supporting women domestic workers and strengthen their work skills so that they have the knowledge and tools necessary to negotiate better working and living conditions.
