Dear supporters,
As another year is coming to an end, we feel very grateful for the generous support we have received. Thanks to your generosity, child domestic workers as young as 9 years old were able to enjoy Sunday Journeys at La Casa de Panchita almost every week, as well as several field trips. These activities are very important to them, as they represent hope for a brighter future and a chance to enjoy their childhood. With your help we were able to accomplish so much and every year we are able to fight abuse and exploitation of children in child domestic work. However, much more is yet to be done.
Unfortunately, we also had some bad news. After nine years, the owner of our venue, La casa de Panchita, communicated to us that he is going to sell the building. We need to find a new venue in Lima, which is not an easy task. But we are more committed than ever and we are getting ready to start 2015 with renewed hope and determination to continue giving support to children and women in domestic work. For this reason, we are participating in Global Giving’s year-end campaign, starting on December 1st through to December 31st. We kindly ask you to renew your support and help us keep up the good work! Our girls and women need you more then ever!
