Today is BONUS DAY! As you may know, donations made to our project will be matched by GlobalGiving at 50% (up to $1,000 per donor), starting at 9am EDT (3pm ECST). This is a very important day for us and for the girls in child domestic labour we support. Today you can make a great(er) difference!
Thanks to your donations, Sunday sessions with child domestic workers are up end running! These sessions are very important for girls like Iveth, a 12 year-old child labourer who is afraid of dropping the baby she takes care of, and of suffering physical abuse while working at her employer’s house. At La Casa de Panchita she learned about her rights as a child and about a place called DEMUNA, where she can report violations to her rights and receive additional help.
