Learning to share and listen to each other!

Dear Supporters,

A couple of weeks ago we had our last Sunday session with girls in child domestic work, before the Christmas break. The past few months have been great and we organized many educational and fun activities at La Casa de Panchita.

Girls in child domestic work do not spend much time socializing with their peers or with their families. We believe it is very important for them to be able to share their problems and that they learn to support each other. We decided to include a special activity in our Sunday sessions. With the help of AGTR’s team and volunteers, girls are encouraged to open up and give each other advice. This is also a good way to learn if some of them are facing concerning issues and need counseling from our psychologist.

Sunday sessions at La Casa de Panchita will resume after the summer break, thanks to your generous contributions! Hoping that this Christmas season you will decide to support us once more, we would like to let you know that AGTR is participating in GlobalGiving’s Year-end Campaign and has, the chance to win bonus prizes thanks to your donations. There are $10,000 available! The campaign will run until December 31st!

Our girls and everybody at AGTR wish you a merry Christmas and a happy new year!

Thank you!

Sincerely,

Blanca Figueroa
