At Dress for Success we believe in a world where a woman's disadvantage no longer means her unemployment. This International Women's Day, 8 March, Dress for Success is on a mission to empower more than 700 women to face their job search with the confidence, clothing, and tools to get hired (https://youtu.be/kMOZkwidrhc). The ask is simple, but the impact is huge - pledge one hour of pay to help a woman overcome the barrier of unemployment, supporting her journey to financial independence.
International Women's Day (March 8) is a global day celebrating the social, economic, cultural, and political achievements of women. The day also marks a call to action for accelerating women's equality. We can all challenge gender stereotypes, call out discrimination, draw attention to bias, and seek out inclusion. Collective activism is what drives change. From grassroots action to wide-scale momentum, we can all embrace equity.
Lockdowns, restrictions, and the turbulent economy have challenged the team of Dress for Success Sydney. Despite this, the volunteer-led registered charity has assisted hundreds of women in need into employment and financial independence through our FREE styling and career support services. This IWD you are being asked to empower vulnerable women into employment.
Help the Dress for Success Sydney team change the lives of an additional 140+ women a year across our community by making a tax-deductible donation to help us raise $50,000, and empower these women into employment and financial independence.
