Thanks to you, our team in Liberia is preparing to enroll over 900 women experiencing moderate to severe depression in group talk therapy. Restore Hope's therapy program is led by trained community members ("facilitators") over a course of twelve weeks.
Our facilitators are becoming increasingly skilled at the group process. We had just a 2% drop out for our last phase of 12 weeks of group therapy. That's tremendous! These women are not given any incentive for spending an hour of their week in therapy groups, often choosing to form groups at 5am before they walk to their farms. They are clearly finding the process healing and worth their time. I continue to be amazed by this, given the burden of work that women carry in Liberia.
Our team is skilled, reliable, and compassionate. They are doing yoeman's work. And, you, are right in step beside them, powering this work with your contributions.
