In vulnerable Nigerian communities, Muslim girls are often excluded from STEM education due to poverty, cultural barriers, and lack of resources. This project equips Muslim girls with foundational STEM skills-technology, problem-solving, and digital innovation-through safe, culturally sensitive learning spaces, mentorship, and hands-on training, helping them unlock opportunities and build brighter, independent futures.
Many Muslim girls in underserved communities lack access to STEM education because of early marriage, household responsibilities, poverty, and limited school infrastructure. Without exposure to science, technology, engineering, and mathematics, they are excluded from future careers, innovation, and economic empowerment, reinforcing cycles of gender inequality and poverty.
We will deliver girl-friendly STEM programs through community learning hubs and mobile classrooms. Muslim girls will receive hands-on training in basic computing, digital literacy, applied mathematics, robotics concepts, and problem-solving skills, supported by female STEM mentors. Community engagement ensures cultural respect, safety, and sustained participation.
Our goal is to raise a generation of confident Muslim girls equipped with STEM skills to pursue education, careers, and entrepreneurship. Graduates will mentor peers, contribute to household income, and challenge harmful norms. Over time, this will increase female representation in STEM and strengthen resilience in vulnerable Nigerian communities
