Empower Nigerian Girls Through STEAM Education

We are excited to share the very first update for our Girls in STEAM Empowerment Project in Nigeria, a life-changing initiative designed to unlock the potential of underserved girls through education, innovation, and opportunity.

Across Nigeria, especially in underserved and conflict-affected communities, thousands of girls are still denied access to quality education, digital skills, and STEM opportunities. Many face barriers such as poverty, gender inequality, early marriage, and lack of access to learning resources. These challenges continue to widen the gender gap in science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics (STEAM).

What We Are Doing Now

We are laying the foundation to deliver high-impact, sustainable change through:

• Establishing safe learning spaces for girls
• Designing hands-on STEM education and digital literacy programs
• Recruiting passionate female mentors and facilitators
• Developing engaging coding, robotics, and creative arts curricula
• Identifying and enrolling girls from vulnerable and marginalized communities

Our approach integrates STEM education, girls’ empowerment, digital inclusion, and gender equality, ensuring that every girl not only learns but thrives.
