Many of the children we support in Rwanda come to school eager to learn—but they face crowded classrooms, limited resources, and gaps in their early education. Some are the first in their families to attend school.
This past year, we have seen several of our students begin to struggle to maintain good grades. Daily challenges like food insecurity and poverty are making it harder for them to focus, keep up with lessons, and stay motivated. When basic needs are uncertain, learning becomes even more difficult.
A school tutor can change that story.
Tutors provide the individual attention these children rarely receive, helping them understand lessons, catch up, and believe in their ability to succeed.
Tutors restore confidence, strengthen essential skills, and give children the tools to stay in school and build a better future.
We are working to make tutoring a core part of our education program—targeting the students who need it most and ensuring consistent, high-quality support. With your help, we can implement and expand this strategy to reach more children and create lasting impact.
For the children we support, a tutor is more than academic help. It is encouragement, opportunity, and hope.
Your support makes that difference!
