When you give to ALNF, you support collaborative, community-led, and innovative literacy and language programs that work. Your generosity is helping us to battle illiteracy, inequality and disadvantage every single day. 

Q3 at ALNF has been busier than ever, with over 9,000 children and young people supported so far this year, and this number keeps growing by the week!

Since June, we have sent over 3569 books to communities right around Australia. Our Share-A-Book Program provides new, quality and culturally appropriate books to families across the nation. Focused on removing the hurdles of a traditional library, children and parents are invited to borrow and keep the books and use them as they please. Stock will continue to be replenished by ALNF, ensuring the introduction of books into a child’s world. 

We have also sent over 1300 Litercy Packs, full of age-appropriate, brand-new stationery and school supplies, providing young people with the necessary resources required, yet not often available, to encourage successful home and school learning environments.

Real changes are made to a child’s life when they are armed with the tools they need to improve their literacy levels and education outcomes.
