Summary

LAFA Is accommunity Based Organization ( CBO) Established with the aim to bring Women and girls from many groups in the Rural together, to reduce Poverty by providing knowledge & skills with free courses; Tailoring, ICT, healthcare & beautician for School leavers and women. This project will help to build technical School to change the lives of thousands women & girls to avoid teen pregnancy and HIV/AIDS infection rates. They will be economically indipendent to access their Sanitary pads

Challenge

In Kenya the region formerly known as Nyanza, has the worst statistics with respect to teen pregnancies at early age of 14 and 16. sexualty transmitted infection including HI/V AIDS infection, amongst girls and women maternal mortality and unsafe abortions. In Migori County parents belief that girls are a source of weath in many poorest communities, girls are forced for earlymarriage & they drop out of School in primary. in the Rural Women are struggling up &down to support their families.

Solution

to ensure socio-Economic Empowerment either jointly or individuele, in the fight to eradicate poverty. Afully integrated educational plan, providing technical skills for girls and women,business & Micro financial (village banking) within the communities, intension of intensifying export programme with cottag industries. HIV AIDS managment activities programme. We provide these to empower women and girls to be self independent through Education and skills.

Long-Term Impact

Confident and job opportunities in the fields. A bid to enhance the attainment of positive develpment and utilization of available resources, they will be pillars of support fo their families and light in their communities to show others the importancy of education, skills and business, is the key to transforme lives from vicious cycle of poverty and from grass to grace. we are commited to empower women,teenage and girls to provide better care to their next generation too.
