Challenge

Nigeria faces a growing "Japa Syndrome," where young, talented individuals leave the country in search of better opportunities abroad. This exodus deprives the nation of innovation, workforce strength, and leadership potential. Many youth migrate due to unemployment, limited access to quality education, or lack of resources to start businesses. Without interventions, this trend will continue, deepening economic challenges and social instability.

Solution

The "Reverse Japa" project aims to empower Nigerian youth to stay and thrive at home by equipping them with in-demand skills, mentorship, and entrepreneurial support. Project Activities: Skill Acquisition Programs: Training in digital skills, tech, agriculture, and vocational trades. Mentorship & Career Guidance: Connecting youth with industry experts to guide career and business decisions. Entrepreneurship Support: Small grants and startup assistance for innovative business ideas.

Long-Term Impact

Reduced youth unemployment and migration abroad. Increased local entrepreneurship and innovation. Strengthened communities and sustainable local economies. A generation of skilled, motivated young Nigerians contributing positively to national development.
