As we enter this season of Thanksgiving, it is time to celebrate the amazing impact of diapers, made possible by you! We've been blessed to cover more bottoms than ever before (6,000 and counting!), truly changing the lives of both baby & caregiver. It is an impressive thing you, our amazing community of supporters, has made possible!
Allison, one of our Diaper Drop partners, is a medical missionary living in Haiti. Recently she was asked to visit a new Mom, Katiana.
Katiania is 17, and Mom to sweet little Stevensky. Stevensky's entry into the world was a traumatic experience at an inappropriately staffed hospital. Katiana is also a single Mom. She & Stevensky are staying in a small, one room house with a dirt floor, so she can be cared for by a cousin as she recovers. Allison was able to give Katiana cloth diapers, to help keep Stevensky clean, dry, and healthy. This simple gift offers Katiana hope & joy, in knowing there are people who truly care for her.
Allison & Katiana are thankful for the simple gift of diapers. As Allison says, "Wherever God leads you, that's where you can make a difference, big or small. That's where you can be the light in the darkness."
Thank you for the light you bring to Katiana, Stevensky, and others just like them.
