The project: "Back to School Pack for Children in Nigeria" main objective is to help children from low-income families with important resources educationally. For this children, a comfortable pair of shoes coupled with other educational resources will make a difference in their life and thus, enable them to be able to fully participate in school activities and also concentrate on their studies.
The problem emanates from the fact that most children in Nigeria lack the basic resources they need to attend school talk less of doing well academically. Without these basic supplies of uniforms, backpack and shoes, these children will be frustrated to pull out from school and thus, constitute another issue for the society leading to poverty and limited opportunities in the future.
Through this project, social and financial barriers will be pulled down. This project will make school more enjoyable for these children and with a very high probability that they will stay to complete their education in order not to miss future opportunities. In addition, the project will address the immediate needs of these children and also break the cycle of poverty and limited educational opportunities.
The project will help these children to have more affinity for school through the completion of their education and thus, enter the workforce with confidence to secure job and reduce poverty in their communities.
