Executive Summary: Our Empowering Women through Self-Employment project has made significant strides since our last report, transforming the lives of 100 women within Lagos, Nigeria community through vocational training, business development workshops, and mentorship, we've equipped participants with the skills and confidence to succeed.
Since our last update, we have:
- Conducted 10 training sessions in entrepreneurship, financial management, and marketing
- Established partnerships with local business incubators to facilitate networking and resource sharing
- Developed an online community for women entrepreneurs to share best practices and support each other's growth.
Key Achievements: Our project has made a positive impact on the lives of many women by empowering them to build successful businesses and contribute to their local economies.
- 5 women have launched their own businesses
- Partnered with 2 microfinance institutions to provide accessible loans
- Established a peer support network for project participants.
- 90% of participants reported improved confidence in business management.
- 80% of participants reported increased earnings.
We believe that our project has the potential to create sustainable change by addressing the root causes of poverty and gender inequality. With the continued support of our donors, we hope to expand our reach and impact more women across the region.
