Empowering Women, Transforming Lives: The Impact of YCAB Ventures

The true meaning of women entrepreneurs is seen through the lives of Saria and her daughter Ali. She started off at a rough patch with Saria’s business partner who took everything, leaving her with nothing. YCAB Ventures microloan program provided her with an initial loan of Rp.1.000.000 which allowed her to start her own beverage business, Es Teh Solo 99.

Working together with YCAB Venture for nearly 6 years, over Rp.7.000.000 worth of loans were received, allowing her to open more branches. With the increase in daily income reaching up to Rp.12.000.000, along with her hard work and perseverance, she is able to support her family in ways she was not able to without the YCAB Venture microloan program.

Going above and beyond her expectations, YCAB Ventures and YCAB Foundation’s aim of breaking the poverty cycle is seen in this family. Where Saria takes pride in sending her daughter to Indonesia’s most prestigious university, where she works hard to achieve their big dream of. By providing initial financial support and guidance, YCAB Ventures has provided many opportunities to Saria and her family.

The inspiring story of Saria and her daughter are just a few of the families that are impacted by YCAB Venture’s economic empowerment program for women. We thank you for your continuous support of our cause. With your help, we will have and will continue to support more women like Saria.
