Support for mothers owning micro-enterprises

Direct support for beneficiaries

As part of our ongoing commitment to supporting mothers and children, we organized a community engagement initiative on March 8, 2025. This initiative aimed to strengthen connections between the public and our community, particularly mothers who run micro-enterprises. Through this initiative, participants had the opportunity to observe the daily activities of these mothers and exchange valuable insights on enhancing their businesses. We aim to empower these women with practical knowledge and encouragement to sustain and grow their enterprises.

The initiative also provided direct support to families in need. A total of 20 mothers received staple food aid, ensuring their households had essential supplies. Meanwhile, more than 60 children were given gifts and parcels contains healthy food & snacks. This initiative not only strengthened community bonds but also reinforced our commitment to uplifting mothers and children through both economic empowerment and direct assistance.

In addition to fostering business engagement, we organized interactive discussions titled "Mindful Mom & Gentle Parenting" to engage mothers in meaningful dialogue. We collaborated with content creators and more than 50 participants, mainly mothers. This initiative aims to raise awareness on self-love, parenting, and family wellness, aligning with our mission to empower mothers.

Overcoming Boundaries: Women Empowering Creativity and Passion through #BatikBercerita

Visual impairment is a condition of imperfect vision. Individuals with visual limitations, including low vision or total blindness, frequentlyencounter difficulties when engaging in various activities.

People with visual impairment are often perceived as helpless and incapable of achieving independence, both financially and in non-financial aspects.

Hence, the establishment of a dedicated space or platform is essential to impart specialized skills to visually impaired individuals, fostering their independence and capabilities.

Recognizing the challenges faced by the visually impaired, Yayasan Cinta Anak Bangsa (YCAB), through the Pejuang Anak Bangsa program, undertakes empowerment initiatives for individuals with visual impairments, including batik training conducted at the Batik Learning House.

One of the Batik Learning Houses founded by Yayasan Cinta Anak Bangsa (YCAB) is located in Bojong Bata.

The establishment of the Batik Learning House in Bojong Bata aims to offer substantial support to visually impaired individuals, facilitating the enhancement of their independence.

Moreover, it is anticipated that the Batik Learning House in Bojong Bata will help visually impaired individuals break free from the cycle of poverty through the education and batik training offered.

Preserving the Hopes of Students in the Batik Learning Center

Bayu, a student at the Batik Learning House, openly expressed his high enthusiasm for engaging in this program. He aspires to gain empowerment through the completion of the program offered by Yayasan Cinta Anak Bangsa.

In the training provided at the Batik Learning House in Bojong Bata, Bayu along with other visually impaired students are taught in designing, creating patterns, and the coloring process involved in batik production. It is hoped that through this program, they can become financially independent young individuals.
