Naning's story is a testament to the transformative power of economic empowerment. Five years ago, Naning was struggling to make ends meet by pushing her vegetable cart around various housing complexes each day. However, her funds were not enough to start a business at that time, so she turned to YCAB for support.
Thanks to YCAB's micro-loan program, Naning received $32 in capital to kick-start her business. From then on, her business began to thrive, and now she can sell up to tens of kilos of tofu and chili daily. All of her vegetables are sold out every day, and at the end of the day, her revenue can reach up to $70.
Despite her success, Naning faced some challenges along the way. She was diagnosed with chronic heart disease, which affected her ability to run her business. Thankfully, YCAB was kind enough to void her loans and debts, allowing her to focus on her health and recovery. Naning is forever grateful for the support she received from YCAB.
Her success story serves as an inspiration to other women, and she hopes that more women like her can continue to strive in life and expand their businesses, creating better opportunities for their families and future generations.
