Empower Women: Help mothers have job opportunities

Dear Donors,

Thank you for your unwavering commitment and support throughout this challenging year. It has been a year marked by profound challenges, valuable learnings, and significant growth. Despite an increasingly complex social and economic landscape, we remained steadfast in achieving our goals and even surpassed them. In these trying times, the support for women and children becomes even more critical.

Throughout the year, we have collaborated with over 35 women and their children, making notable impacts through various initiatives:

1. Project UB - Pilares: In collaboration with the Faculty of Architecture and Design, we embarked on a project to craft personalized backpacks for the young graduates of the Foundation's CPIs. We successfully designed and produced 150 unique backpacks, each bearing a child's name. This endeavor saw the combined efforts of students from the Fashion Design program and participants from the program. These backpacks are set to be distributed during the year-end celebrations.
2. Solidarity Box Project with Potenciar Solidario Foundation: In alliance with other esteemed social organizations, we curated solidarity Christmas boxes filled with handcrafted products. We initiated a project crafting yerba mate holders and sugar bowls from denim and leather. Women put in motion everything related to productive development: A detailed cost analysis, evaluatIon on materials, break-even points, and forecast profits. With Fundacion Pilares initial capital contribution for raw materials, all ensuing profits were be equitably distributed among participants, proportional to their contributions.
3. Fabric Workshop: On Tuesday, October 25th, participants were privileged to attend a comprehensive workshop delving into fabric composition and its commercial applications, particularly focusing on textile entrepreneurship. This immersive workshop, led by renowned expert Walter Colonnese (@cortex_ind), provided invaluable hands-on experience to the attendees.
4. Google Workshop: In collaboration with the Google Argentina team and the dedicated participants, we are poised to host a workshop elucidating basic digital tools for professional use, encompassing platforms like Google Drive and Google Sheets. This session took place at Google's state-of-the-art offices in Puerto Madero.
5. Alliance with Capacitarte: As part of our ongoing commitment to capacity-building, we are extending an exclusive opportunity to participants to enroll in a complimentary course of their preference from the renowned Capacitarte platform.
