By Lara Yunes | Responsible for Individual Donors
Dear Donors,
We are pleased to announce that the Social and Solidarity Economy program has successfully commenced its enrollment period for the new year. During the month of April, we welcomed 15 women and 19 children as participants in our program.
Our annual plan focuses on enhancing the development of individual productive ventures, specifically centered around clothing recycling for reuse. The primary objective is to generate sustainable economic opportunities for these families facing psychosocial vulnerability. Activities will take place on Tuesdays at our center located in Flores, Buenos Aires City. During the sewing workshops, we will focus on textile techniques, embroidery, weaving, and also emphasize the internal creativity development of the participants, fostering their empowerment and revaluing their capabilities.
While these activities unfold, children will engage in the playroom, where their creativity is stimulated, and they learn through play.
We deeply appreciate your generosity and ongoing support, which enables us to provide the necessary tools and support for these families to build a more prosperous and secure future. Thank you for being part of this meaningful project of sociolabor inclusion for women.
