Under Grey Skies BCG Brings Bright Futures to IkamvaYouth Ivory Park

Gloomy skies, but bright hearts! We would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the incredible team at Boston Consulting Group for bringing so much energy and care to our IkamvaYouth Ivory Park branch in Midrand. From painting classrooms to revitalizing our computer lab, your hands-on support has left a lasting impact.

We’re deeply grateful for your continued commitment and investment in our mission—your efforts truly help shape a brighter future for our learners.

IkamvaYouth Mahikeng & UNISA BLA Empower Youth Through Tertiary Application Drive

Our IkamvaYouth Mahikeng branch in the North West, in partnership with the Black Lawyers Association Student Chapter of UNISA hosted a successful tertiary application initiative for learners and community members. The aim was to assist them in the start of their higher education journey. Our learners and staff would like to express heartfelt thank you to the Black Lawyers Association Student Chapter (UNISA) for their unwavering support to empowering our youth.

IkamvaYouth Makhaza Learners Take a lead in Editing Their Learner Doccies

Our IkamvaYouth Makhaza branch in the Western Cape has reached an exciting milestone in the Learner Doccies Programme, delivered in partnership with EhWoza. The first cohort has completed the editing phase—a challenging yet incredibly rewarding process where learners spent several days shaping their documentary narratives. This phase culminated in a pre-screening session, where participants proudly showcased their works-in-progress, exchanged feedback, and celebrated their creative journeys.

Congratulations to Cohort 1 for their dedication, creativity, and perseverance! We can’t wait to see the final films and the powerful stories they tell.

A special thank you to EhWoza for their invaluable support and collaboration in bringing this programme to life.

IkamvaYouth Chesterville Express Their Love For The Ocean Through Art

The IkamvaYouth Chesterville branch in KwaZulu-Natal extends a heartfelt thank you to the Youth4MPAs team for hosting a powerful and engaging workshop with our Grade 8 learners. During the session, learners expressed their creativity through beautifully written letters and artwork dedicated to the ocean—sharing heartfelt messages of love, care, and environmental awareness. The workshop not only sparked creativity but also planted the seeds of environmental stewardship.

Thank you, Youth4MPAs, for inspiring the next generation of ocean guardians and helping our youth see their role in protecting our planet.

Run with Jade Support IkamvaYouth's Marathon Mission

We’re excited to share that one of our incredible supporters, Jade, has successfully completed the 2025 George MUT Trail Marathon! Jade took on this challenge to raise awareness and funds for education in South Africa, running in support of IkamvaYouth. Her commitment to empowering young people through education is truly inspiring.

There’s still time to support Jade’s online fundraiser. Your contribution can help ensure that learners receive the academic support and career guidance they need to build a brighter future.

Let’s come together one last time to rally behind Jade. Together, we can make a lasting impact on the lives of South Africa’s youth.
