Double Impact

Kadiatu is practicing new computer skills

Kadiatu and Shieka are practicing what they have learned from Alfred, the computer trainee Develop Africa sponsored. Alfred is accomplishing his goal to pass on his computer knowledge to other youths after he completed his training. He gave an assignment to Kadiatu and Shieka on Word Processing.

Alfred wants to help other youths be prepared for opportunities made available to them after the Ebola crisis ends and suspended academic activities in Sierra Leone resume.

We first introduced Alfred in our September 10, 2014, project report titled "Meet Alfred - An Aspiring Teacher-In-Training".

Alfred volunteers at the Door of Hope After School Program and he aspires to be a School Principal. Becoming computer literate is one of his dreams. We covered the cost of his training classes in MS Office software applications.

Thank YOU for providing Alfred the opportunity to impact others.

We have come a very long way! Hundreds of children and youth in the community will benefit from the opportunity to train at the computer lab because of YOUR generosity. Their dreams of becoming computer literate are coming true!

YOUR donations make this happen!

Best Wishes,

Develop Africa team
